Corpus Christi Catholic Church

The Corpus Christi Parish was founded in 1929 and today's church building was built in 1936. The original building has been expanded over the years, but in 1997 the City of Piedmont required a seismic retrofit and the Parish took this opportunity to not only address code issues, and otherwise rehabilitate the building, but to also update the interior and fixtures to better reflect contemporary liturgical thought while retaining the general architectural character of the church building, which is modeled after the ecclesiastical architecture of the Parish's home city, in the Piedmont hills of 10th century Italy. O'Mahony & Myer provided both electrical engineering and lighting design for the project.
