Lafayette Veterans Memorial Building

Nestled into a hillside on a narrow strip of land, the new 9,000 square foot Lafayette Veterans Memorial Building has become a popular setting for public ceremonies and events. High quality materials and an entry colonnade coupled with lighting that creates a lantern effect give a grand scale and identity to this building. Instead of monumental forms, the building uses large light-filled interior spaces rendered in natural materials to create a strong presence. Our design team carefully coordinated the power for lighting and electrical systems with the building design to ensure that conduit runs were inconspicuously concealed among the major building elements.
